Quotable:

Alexis DeJoria, Driver

We brought out the new chassis in qualifying this weekend- the first Bounty Hunter Funny Car chassis. We hadn’t had any time to test it at all, so we thought this weekend would be a good opportunity to bring it out. We made two good runs in it but overall, we have more consistency in our other chassis that we had been running previously. We’re going to bring that chassis back out for race day and take the No. 001 Bounty Hunter chassis back to the shop. The guys will go through it and find the gremlin that’s plaguing us right now with that car.

Tomorrow we have our teammate Del Worsham in the first round. It’s going to be a crapshoot. We’ve both made some good runs this weekend and some not so great runs, so it’s anybody’s race.
