Team Kalitta Qualifying Results – Englishtown; Kalitta Qualifies No. 1 for Fourth Time in 2014

Doug Kalitta, driver of the Mac Tools Top Fuel dragster, will enter tomorrow’s eliminations at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J. in the No. 1 qualifying position. Kalitta’s 3.748-second, 327.66-mph run in the final qualifying session Saturday secured his fourth No. 1 of the 2014 NHRA Mello Yello Drag racing Series and the 40th of his illustrious career.

Q1: 3.809 sec., 304.05 mph (One bonus point for third quickest of the session)
Q2: 3.756 sec., 327.03 mph (Three bonus points for quickest of the session)
Q3: 3.782 sec., 320.58 mph
Q4: 3.748 sec., 327.66 mph (Three bonus points for quickest of the session)

J.R. Todd – Driver of the Optima Batteries/Advance Auto Parts Top Fuel Dragster:
