  • Q1: 4.487 sec. at 172.25 mph
  • Q2: 3.819 sec. at 319.37 mph (Two bonus points for second quickest of the session)
  • No. 3 Provisional Qualifier

Del Worsham – Driver of the DHL Toyota Camry Funny Car

  • Q1: 4.407 sec. at 210.54 mph
  • Q2: 4.128 sec. at 307.23 mph (One bonus point for third quickest of the session)
  • No. 6 Provisional Qualifier

Alexis DeJoria – Driver of the Patrón XO Café Toyota Camry Funny Car

  • Q1: 4.837 sec. at 167.76 mph
  • Q2: 4.799 sec. at 167.32 mph
  • No. 12 Provisional Qualifier

David Grubnic – Driver of the Optima Batteries Top Fuel Dragster

  • Q1: 17.255 sec. at 46.93 mph
  • Q2: 4.801 sec. at 149.70 mph
  • No. 16 Provisional Qualifier

Event Schedule:

The 45th annual NHRA Gatornationals resume Saturday for Team Kalitta and the nitro-powered pros with qualifying sessions at 12:45 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. (ET). The top 16 qualified cars in both Top Fuel and Funny Car will race Sunday in eliminations beginning at 11:00 a.m.

He is assisted by co-crew chiefs Jon Oberhofer and Nick Boninfante on the DHL Toyota Camry Funny Car, by Tommy Delago and Glen Huszar on the Patrón XO Café Toyota Camry Funny Car,  and by Jim Oberhofer on the Mac Tools Top Fuel dragster. Connie serves as crew chief on the OPTIMA Batteries Top Fuel dragster.
