Team Kalitta Qualifying Report – Bristol

BRISTOL, Tenn. (June 20, 2015) – Kalitta Motorsports, the nitro-fueled, four-car NHRA drag racing team based in Ypsilanti, Mich., has completed qualifying for the Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway in Bristol, Tenn. Results and quotes follow.

Doug Kalitta – Driver of the Mac Tool Top Fuel Dragster:

  • Q1: 3.856 sec., 273.94 mph
  • Q2: 3.876 sec., 313.44 mph
  • Q3: 3.809 sec., 318.62 mph
  • Q4: 3.750 sec., 329.50 mph

No. 2 Qualifier

J.R. Todd – Driver of the Kalitta Air Top Fuel Dragster:

  • Q1: 3.859 sec., 316.45 mph
  • Q2: 3.790 sec., 318.62 mph
  • Q3: 5.927 sec., 107.78 mph
  • Q4: 3.865 sec., 314.46 mph

Del Worsham – Driver of the DHL Toyota Camry Funny Car:
