GAINESVILLE, Fla., (March 13, 2015) – Kalitta Motorsports, the nitro-fueled, four-car NHRA drag racing team based in Ypsilanti, Mich., has completed qualifying for the NHRA GatorNationals. Results and quotes follow.

Doug Kalitta – Driver of the Mac Tools Top Fuel Dragster:

Q1: 3.949 sec., 284.87 mph
Q2:3.993 sec., 274.94 mph
Q3: No run; crossed the centerline
Q4: 3.796 sec., 323.58 mph (Three bonus points for the quickest run of the session.)

No. 3 Qualifier

J.R. Todd – Driver of the Red Line Oil/Kalitta Air Top Fuel Dragster:

Q1: 6.272 sec., 101.77 mph
Q2:5.439 sec., 125.27 mph
Q3: 3.891 sec., 312.86 mph

Connie serves as crew chief on the Red Line Oil Top Fuel dragster.
