Team Kalitta Qualifying Recap – AAA Fall Nationals – Dallas

ENNIS, Texas (Oct. 17, 2015) – Kalitta Motorsports, the nitro-fueled, four-car NHRA drag racing team based in Ypsilanti, Mich., has completed qualifying for the AAA Fall Nationals at Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas Results and quotes follow.

Del Worsham – Driver of the DHL Toyota Camry Funny Car:

Q1: 4.041 sec., 312.28 mph (One bonus points for the third best run of the session.)
Q2: 3.917 sec., 323.58 mph (Three bonus points for the best run of the session.)
Q3: 4.005 sec., 316.08 mph (Two bonus points for the second best run of the session.)
Q4: 3.951 sec., 321.35 mph (Three bonus points for the best run of the session.)

No. 1 Qualifier

Note: This is Worsham’s first no.1 qualifier at Texas Motorplex in Funny Car and the 17th in his career (10th in Funny Car). It is the fourth no.1 qualifier on the season for Kalitta Motorsports, and first for the team in Funny Car since Alexis DeJoria at the second event in Pomona in 2014.
