Team Kalitta Las Vegas 2 Qualifying Recap; Todd Qualifies No. 1 at The Strip

Todd, driver of the Optima Batteries/Advance Auto Parts Top Fuel dragster, will lead the charge for Team Kalitta into Sunday’s eliminations of the 14th Annual NHRA Toyota Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway from the No. 1 qualifying spot in the world’s quickest and fastest auto racing class.

Todd’s career best run of 3.732 seconds at 327.43 mph set the track record for elapsed time. It’s his third No. 1 qualifying spot of the season and the sixth of his career. Todd’s Optima Batteries/Advance Auto Parts team is led by team owner, drag racing icon and crew chief Connie “the Bounty Hunter” Kalitta.
