NHRA Topeka Update

After an eight-hour rain delay, the NHRA was able to begin eliminations for the Menards NHRA Heartland Nationals at 7:00 p.m. CST on Sunday evening. After two rounds, racing was suspended for the rest of the night when conditions made it impossible to continue. Eliminations will resume tomorrow at 10 a.m. local time beginning with Top Fuel semifinals.

From Kalitta Motorsports, Richie Crampton was eliminated by Brittany Force in the first round and Doug Kalitta was eliminated by Clay Millican in the quarterfinals, but both of our Toyota Racing Camrys remain in the field! J.R. Todd’s DHL Camry will face Courtney Force with Shawn Langdon’s Global Electronic Technology Camry against Robert Hight. A complete post-race recap will follow tomorrow after the eliminations have been completed.

For those who follow on All Access, NHRA will have coverage.
