Alexis DeJoria, Driver

“I definitely feel a lot better about this weekend in Charlotte than I did when we raced here earlier this season. This is the best our team has ever done in Charlotte. In fact, this is one of the best qualifying weekends we’ve had this year. We ran our quickest time ever in Q2 with that 4.02. The car has really turned a corner and we’ve come a long way. Tomorrow we have lane choice over Ron Capps in the first round. We had him first round in Indy and he ended up beating us by less than a thousandth of a second, so hopefully tomorrow it’ll be our car that sets off the win light and advances to round two. Team Patrón feels good going into race day and I’m confident we’ll be successful.”
