“We really struggled in qualifying this weekend. It was tough out there, and there were a number of things that gave us trouble- driver error, dropping cylinders- but luckily, we managed to get in the show. We’re qualified fifteenth and we’re racing our ‘lucky first round’ guy, Matt Hagan, so we’ll see. It’s just one of those things. You don’t always have to qualify well to go rounds on Sunday- our last race in Vegas is a perfect example of that. You can win from anywhere, as long as you make the show.”
