Alexis DeJoria, Driver

Qualifying went fairly well this weekend. We ended Friday night in the No. 10 spot with a nice 4.12 from Q2. Today started off on a good note with our 4.11 in Q3. That pass held up to be low ET of the round and moved us up to the ninth spot. By the time we were up to run in Q4 we had been bumped back to twelfth. The sun was starting to set at that time and there was some good shade on the track. We tried to step on it and really go after it, but unfortunately ended up smoking the tires and weren’t able to improve our position in the qualifying ladder. We face Hagan in round one of eliminations tomorrow- we’ll see what happens and hopefully, we’ll go some rounds on race day.
